Does SmartNotes record our meetings?

No. SmartNotes uses the native transcription from Teams or Google Meet (you enable it in your meeting settings). Or you can upload audio recordings after the meeting if you prefer.

How accurate are the action item extractions?

Very accurate for clearly stated commitments ("John will send the proposal by Friday"). Less clear commitments are still captured but flagged for review. Improves as the AI learns your team's language.

Can I edit the AI-generated summaries?

Yes. Summaries are posted to Slack or emailed in editable format. You can refine before sharing with attendees or use as-is if quality meets your standards.

What happens to sensitive or confidential meetings?

You control which meetings are processed. SmartNotes can be configured to only process meetings you explicitly tag, or exclude specific attendees/topics. All data is encrypted and GDPR-compliant.

How long does deployment take?

2-3 working days. We connect to Teams or Google Meet, configure your summary format preferences, set up Slack/email delivery, and test on a few sample meetings before go-live.

Can SmartNotes handle accents and industry jargon?
