Tell us about your idea
Young Founder Programme

Give the idea a starting point

What do you want to bring into the world?

Explain the problem, who would use your idea and what you have tried so far. You can apply with an early concept, a prototype or a business already taking shape.

Your next step

Apply for founder support

Share a clear outline of the idea and the kind of support you need. A finished pitch deck is not required.

A short outline is enough. Please leave out sensitive personal information, beneficiary details and confidential documents. We can arrange secure sharing if needed.

We use your details to review your application and reply. Read our privacy notice

For founders under 25
You must be under 25 when you apply. You do not need to have incorporated a company or built the technology already.
Flexible ways to work together
We consider reduced fees, equity, deferred payment and potentially free initial work. The right option depends on the idea and the agreed scope.
A useful first milestone
We help identify the smallest worthwhile build, so you can learn from real use before committing to a larger product.

Ways to make it possible

The arrangement should fit the idea.

There is no single price or deal for every founder. We discuss these options after reviewing your application, and put the agreed terms in writing before work starts.

01

A reduced fixed fee

A defined piece of work at an agreed reduced price, with a clear scope and milestones.

02

Development for equity

An agreed ownership share in exchange for development work, where it is a suitable fit for both sides.

03

Payment at a later stage

Potential deferred payment, with the timing or trigger agreed in advance around your circumstances.

04

Free initial support

We may offer an initial piece of support at no charge, helping a promising idea take its first step.

Options are considered individually and may be combined. This programme provides practical support, rather than cash grants; no funding or acceptance is guaranteed.

From concept to something useful

Build the part that proves the idea.

Start with a real user need. Then create something you can put in front of people and improve.

A first product

A focused prototype or minimum viable product that helps test whether the idea solves a real problem.

The platform behind it

Backend software, customer portals and integrations that support the way your product needs to work.

A confident next step

Technical guidance, practical training and a plan for the decisions that come after the first build.

How the programme works

Start small. Learn. Build with purpose.

Our working principles
  1. Understand the idea

We discuss the problem, intended users, what you have learned and the support that would make a difference.

  2. Agree the first milestone

We choose a manageable build and agree the scope, payment or equity arrangement, responsibilities and ownership in writing.

  3. Build and learn

We develop the agreed work with you, use feedback to test the idea and identify what a sensible next stage looks like.

Useful to know

A few questions, answered.

Who can apply?

Founders under 25 can apply, whether the idea is at an early stage or the business is already running. Tell us who is involved and what you are trying to achieve.

Do I need to offer equity?

No. Equity is one possible arrangement. We also consider reduced fees, deferred payment and potentially free initial support, depending on the project.

Can we start without paying upfront?

Possibly. Free initial work or deferred payment can be considered after review. We agree the scope and any future payment terms before that work begins.

Will every idea be selected?

We review the need, the practicality of the build, how we can contribute and our capacity. We cannot promise acceptance or business success; we can help selected founders turn an idea into a useful first version.
